Day 84 - Settling down for a long winter's cure

The last pictures posted showed a fuzzy road late a night. Now that I have a second to breathe (and take pictures), and now that the rain is clear, I can finally show you how our side of the street turned out.
What you are seeing in the picture is the forms sitting out on the street to prevent would-be drivers from traversing this still green concrete expanse. Though, someone did decide to knock down a few of our barrier cones last night.
Unfortunately, the light of day shows several problems with the finished project.
The surface shows signs of the Tuesday's rain - see the shot of the curb below; this is permanently in the surface of the concrete. Looking down the center of the street, the south side of the street looks cleanly grated, while our side looks to be a bit rough. Worst of all are the spots left behind by the late-night sawer. I have two pictures below - and yes, that has dried that way. It won't come off.

I'm afraid the best grade I can give this job is C+. At least the worst is over...
